Bunkei — Japanese Sentence Pattern Drill
Free, no-login practice for Japanese sentence patterns (文型, bunkei). Choose a few
verbs from Genki I and II — 食べる, 行く, 書く, 勉強する and many more — and a set of
patterns from JLPT N5 to N3: 〜てください, 〜ないでください, 〜てもいいですか,
〜てはいけません, 〜たいです, 〜ませんか, the potential form (can / can't),
〜なければなりません, 〜なくてもいいです, 〜させてください, 〜たことがあります,
〜てしまいました, 〜ておきます, 〜てみます, 〜つもりです, 〜た方がいいです,
〜かもしれません, 〜てほしいです, the causative-passive, 〜べきです, 〜ことにしました,
〜ようにしています, 〜わけにはいきません and more. Each English sentence uses one
verb in one pattern; translate it into Japanese, optionally type your answer to have
it checked, and see the answer with furigana and a note on how the pattern is built.
Progress is scheduled with spaced repetition.
